As a Quality Assurance Analyst at Interaxon, you’ll work closely with our team to ship Apps that deliver a great customer experience. You'll do this by verifying that everything works as expected, filing bugs in Jira when it doesn’t, and keeping tabs on what’s coming up.What you’ll be doing:- Writing and running automated tests and scripts to streamline validation processes.- Manual testing of features and bugs in our core iOS and Android Apps.- Executing regression tests to ensure no bugs get into Production.- Writing test case plans for new features that capture all the edge cases.- Executing feature verification tests, including for new Firmware updates.- Documenting and reporting bugs with clear steps and details in our Bug Tracking system.- Communicating effectively with Development, Design, and Product about Quality issues.Your skills and experience:- 3+ years of experience in software testing, including experience working with iOS and Android Apps.- Effective technical communication skills to describe failure cases and structured reproduction steps.- Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle and Agile methodology.- Familiarity with UI and UX design principles and an eye for what looks good.- Experience with Git and managing branches.- Experience writing automated tests and automation scripts to support testing.- Experience writing or running basic Bash shell scripts (Python or Ruby is a bonus).- Experience testing mobile apps, responsive web experiences, and hardware integrations.- Exposure to complex build systems like Cocoapods, Fastlane, and CircleCI.- Computer Science degree, similar education, or equivalent experience.Assets:- Familiarity with Firmware testing and hardware validation processes.- Familiarity with Jira, GitHub, Xcode, and Android Studio.- Bonus if you are fluent in Spanish, German, French, or Japanese.
