If you’re looking for a career where you can make a real impression, join our Global Service Center HSBC and discover how valued you’ll be.We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of**Audit Analytics Analyst****Role purpose**:- Global Internal Audit provides independent, objective assurance to management and the risk and audit committees as to whether the framework of risk management, control, and governance processes, as designed and represented by management, is adequate and functioning._- _- The Audit Analyst - Audit Analytics in HSBC Global Internal Audit (GBL INA) will support the individual audit teams in utilising automated, analytical tools to improve the overall effectiveness of the execution of audit activities. Work with individuals in audit teams to design, build, and deliver innovative technology-enabled auditing solutions._**Main activities**:- _Capture risk drivers in individual HSBC Lines of Business, Functions and regions that allow GBL INA to monitor and make more timely and better informed decisions on when, where, and how to deploy audit resources and/or change the timing, frequency, and scope of audit work_- _Perform innovative tests of control utilising digitised artefacts (data)_- _Perform continuous tests of control using advanced analytics_- _Evaluate and implement new tools that will enable Audit Analytics to meet the technology needs of GBL INA_- _Develop and follow sustainable processes to support the Audit Analytics operational requirements, including management of risk associated with performance of the analytic (e.g. cross-border data transfer)_- _Develop their knowledge of data sources, structures, meta-data, etc. existing in select Lines of Business or Functions and regions for possible use by the Audit teams_- _Design, build, and deliver data analytics solutions to meet the needs of Audit_- _Implement and follow an agile, iterative, adaptive approach during the development / delivery of audit technology solutions to meet the timely needs of Audit and add the most value_Requirements- _Experience of 2-3 years in data analytics or dynamic information technology programming experience or equivalent_- _Solid experience with Business Intelligence / analytical tools and programming (Python (must have), QlikSense (desirable), SQL (desirable))_- _Experience with machine learning or artificial intelligence would be a plus_- _External or internal audit experience will be advantageous_- _Be educated to a degree level in computing, information systems, mathematics, quantitative, numerical science or related field or equivalent experience_- _Strong analytical, decision making, interpersonal, time management and problem solving skills_- _Track record in designing and implementing advanced data analytics solutions_- _Strong project management skills_- You’ll achieve more when you join HSBC_At HSBC we offer our colleagues a greater number of days so that they can fully enjoy their wedding, take care of the new member of the family, or grieve the loss of a family member.
