This 100-year legacy includes the invention of the electrical relay for aircraft systems, which has supported the development of the world’s aircrafts.ME II Primary Responsibilities- Define, justify, implement, and validate manufacturing processes.- Control Process in processes with lower FPY.- Track process metrics and drive process improvement.- Collaborate with development teams, manufacturing, customers, and suppliers to ensure that highly manufactural designs are released to production.- Support specification of components and materials.- Develop manufacturing plans.- Routine design, fabrication, modification and evaluation of tooling.- May assign work to technicians as appropriate.- Provide expedient technical support to all areas of the company wherever required.- Create and maintain good supplier and customer relationships.- Drive quality improvements and manage assigned CARs (corrective action requests).- Support Lean Manufacturing efforts.- Gather tooling requirements from manufacturing engineering and product drawings/specifications.- Interpret customer inspection requirements to ensure Tooling functionality.- Support Quality Assurance personnel with tool inspection criteria and interpretation of inspection data.- Work hands on with operators as required to train and evaluate tool use and improvements.- Maintain the highest ethical standards, even when challenged from above.- Understand and live by Leach’s ethics and business conduct policies.- Performs other duties as required.Experiência y requisitosPosition shift: - Day shiftThe profile of the engineer must be:- Mechanical Engineer- Electronic Engineer- Mechatronic Engineer- Aerospace EngineerIndustrial EngineerQualifications:- A Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or University in Electronic Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or Industrial Engineering discipline.- Strong Mechanical and Industrial Engineering background, working on solving complex material, design for manufacturability and process issues.- 5+ years of experience leading product, process, project, manufacturing or quality engineering teams.- Minimum of three years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering with knowledge of the following processes/techniques: Welding process, Soldering, electromechanical assemblies, tumbling, deburring, tooling, plating, heat-treatment, cleaning procedures, etc.- General understanding of communications protocols (MIL-STD-, ASM, NADCAP, GD&T (YM14.5)).- Excellent written and oral communication skills.- Skills in CAD, Word, Excel, Outlook and Visio.- Expected to travel domestically and internationally with short notice on occasions up to 25% of the time.Beneficios- Beneficios de acuerdo a la LFT**Número de vacantes** 1**Área** Ingeniería**Contrato** Permanente**Modalidad** Presencial**Turno** Diurno**Jornada** Tiempo Completo**Horario**- Turno Matutino**Estudios** Carrera con título profesional**Inglés**Hablado: Avanzado, Escrito: Avanzado**Disponibilidad p. viajar** No
