That’s what **_\#LifeAtCummins_** is all about.We are looking for a talented **Product Systems Validation Technical Specialist** to join our team specializing in **Engineering** for our **CUMMINS** in **San Luis Potosí, SLP**.**Job Summary**:**In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways**:- Powertrain Integration and optimization related new technologies development to drive powertrain guidelines.- Powertrain driveability evaluation to understand performance and competitiveness.- Powertrain fuel efficiency and performance validation based on Engineering standards to support powertrain improvements and TCO guidelines.- Powertrain validation simulation base, able to drive data at early development satges.- Benchmark and competitive powertrain test based on Engineering standards- Makes decisions in the areas of verification and validation that impact product performance, reliability, and durability.- Investigates and addresses potential system concerns or issues, understands causal mechanisms, recommends appropriate action, owns problem resolution and documents results with guidance from more experienced team members.- Applies and improves processes such as technical requirements, iDFMEA, Engineering Standard Work (ESW), DVP&R optimization, test standards, and problem solving and tools such as Integrity, Microsoft Power BI, and McParts required to support the processes and enable high quality decision making.- Develop and standardize tools and process on specific powertrain related topics, to drive productivity.- Delivers independent execution of established and emerging work processes and systems, while still developing technology or product knowledge.- Provides support and guidance to influence technical direction within a project team and continues to develop proficiency in the competency areas critical to success in the role.**To be successful in this role you will need the following**:- Product knowledge- Powertrain optimization knowledge- Product validation and testing knowledge- Skilled on simulation and data analytic software (Matlab, Python,)- Experience in Product Development, Product Application, and Product Design/Simulation.- English fluent- We are a company dedicated to promoting diversity in the workplace, we provide equal employment opportunities regardless of race, gender, disability, national origin, age, religion or sexual orientation._**Qualifications****Responsibilities****Competencies**:- Product Test Integration and Optimization- Product Failure Mode Avoidance (FMEA)- Machine Integration and optimization- Product Interface Management and Integration- Product Problem Solving- Product Verification and Validation Management- Builds networks- Communicates effectively- Decision quality- Drives results- Manages complexity- Resourcefulness- Values differences- Customer Focus- Action oriented- Mangage Complexity**Education**:Bachelor's degree in Engineering required, Master's degree desired.**Experience**:Prior Senior or Lead Engineer equivalent work experience in a relevant discipline area is required with a demonstrated track record of technical Product Development, Product Application, and Product Design/Simulation.Willing to travel and with VISA**Job** Engineering**Organization** Cummins Inc.**Role Category** Hybrid**Job Type** Exempt - Experienced**ReqID** **Relocation Package** No
