Show no weakness.®Avertium is currently seeking a Staff Accountant to join our Finance Team. This position will handle a variety of accounting tasks in a hands-on way. You will succeed in this role if you have strong time management and analytical skills, attention to detail, and solid communication abilities.**Responsibilities**:- Ensure all day-to-day activities, such as accounts receivable, and general ledger posting are performed efficiently and effectively- Manage parts of the month-end close process including general ledger posting, revenue recognition, balance sheet and income statement reconciliations, financial statement reporting, variance analyses, commission calculations, and other financial metric reporting- Help prepare weekly income statement forecasts- Work closely with 3rd party accounting firms to complete annual audits and tax filings- Assist with budgeting process- Prepare other various recurring and ad-hoc financial reports- Partner collaboratively with other departments as one team to drive outcome-based solutions to business needs- Help identify and drive continual process improvement**Qualifications for success**:- Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field- 5+ years in-depth accounting experience- Experience with technology-enabled services companies- Prior experience with revenue management, balance sheet reconciliations, and calculating commissions/bonus- Ability to use various financial and business systems efficiently to gather and use data for reporting- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills- Passion for efficient, effective and scalable processes to produce accurate and useful results- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines- Natural ability to maintain confidentiality and practice standard business ethics- Comfortable taking initiative to work alongside and collaborate with other departments**Tools You Will Use**:- NetSuite- Salesforce- PSA Tool (tbd)- Excel- #LI-DS1
