**Position Summary**Connection Systems team is seeking a Packaging Engineer Technical.This position is responsible for release new packaging and optimization for all the products that Aptiv manufactures at the North American level, Also participate in the purchasing process with different suppliers in order to deliver the material on time for new launches/products.**Your Role**- Attend internal/external with Program Management aligning the packaging deliveries/milestones for new lunches.- Optimize std pack considering saving cost and proper protect the product.- Fill the proper information to different OEM portals in order to get the PPAP approval related on packaging.- Participate actively in the problem resolution with the different teams involved in our processing activity regards packaging topics.**Your Background**- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Industrial/Mechanical- 80% English (written and verbal)- Knowledge of excel and its functions- Basic knowledge in SAP, Microsoft Office.- Knowledge of Solid Works / AutoCAD (Drawing interpretation 2D/3D)- Packaging develop among Product Engineering.**Preferred Qualifications**:- Problem solving skills.- Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization.- Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.- Strong results-orientation and execution characteristics.- Ability to effectively organize, prioritize and accomplish multiple conflicting tasks, make. intelligent, timely decisions and solve problems independently.**Aptiv Rewards & Advantages**- Competitive compensation package.- Learning, professional growth and development in a world recognized international environment.- Recognition for innovation and excellence.- Opportunities to give back to the community.- Meaningful work that makes a difference in the world**Some see differences.
