Contribute to reducing inventory levels, implemented the best sourcing model applicable.- Develop forecasts of prices and internal analysis on costs, to provide the basic information for the planning of the company and make reports.- Part of the process of project management at an early stage to maximize the contribution to operating income and ensure they meet the established procurement processes.- Location of suppliers in low-cost economies of production, always considering the total cost including transportation and taxes applicable.- Cost Improvement Process for Supply Chain Base**Position Requirements**- +5 years’ experience in purchasing or related discipline (Direct Materials)- Education required: Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related technical area.Technical Knowledge and Soft Skills:- Product knowledge- Extrusion- Stamping and e-coat process (Desirable)- Exposure to commodity sourcing activitySkills desired:- Demonstrated leadership skills in communications and supplier relations- Strong negotiating skillsSoft Skills:- Quality Knowledge- Negotiation Skills- Commercial Knowledge- Professional Ethics- Held Meetings / Public Speech- Results Oriented- At Nemak, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (D&I) play a fundamental role in everything we do and are the underlying platform on which our culture is built.
