Business Analyst

This takes hard work and innovation, and we need more like-minded people on our team.As the Business Analyst, you will serve as a liaison between business users and the IT project and software development teams. You will coordinate requirement definition sessions with business teams to identify functional and nonfunctional requirements needed to enhance and support critical business activities.Additionally, you will conduct analysis of platforms integration and data flows to help support the creation of design documentation and help in the delivery of the nonfunctional requirements. The IT BA can also help to drive progress during the requirements definition stage of projects, by ensuring the right partners are engaged for a complete requirement identification. The IT BA also helps to define the system integration points and data used across systems.- Translate business requirements into organized, documented functional and nonfunctional requirements for reference by IT project and development teams. This includes use of requirement templates, process maps, data and process flow and data mapping when applicable.- Considers new or existing global functionality to be integrated within the business platforms.- Conducts data and systems analysis to deliver high level functionality, data and system integration maps.- Assists solution and data architects in development of system architecture documentation based on the business process analysis conducted.- Guides and proposes solutions for business requirements along with the business product teams, for the purpose of identifying or defining functional and nonfunctional system requirements.- Works with the technology architecture team in the development and documentation of nonfunctional system requirements and design specifications- Prioritizes, control and manages the requirements and communication with the local and global project and development teams.- Assists with identification of test cases based on documented and approved user stories.- Supports the documentation of user manuals as part of the deliverables of the projects or requirements.**Qualifications**:—Education and Experience- Bachelor’s in Computer Science/Systems, Administration or similar, with at least 3 years’ equivalent work experience- Experience in documenting business requirements (functional and nonfunctional)- Experience with process improvement- Understanding of the software development life cycle (multiple disciplines Agile/Scrum, waterfall etc.)- System, data analysis and mapping experience—Knowledge and Competencies- Have good synthesis and communication skills to transfer customer demands to the IT Team- Strong facilitation and organizational skills, as well as strong problem-solving skills- Accountable & Responsible- Team Building- Critical Thinking- Good bilingual communication both verbal and written in English and Spanish- Strong facilitation and organizational skills (Task Management)- Manage Person (Desire)- Proficient in using JIRA, Diagramming apps like Lucidchart, VisioWhat’s in it for You- A culture of innovation, empowerment, decision-making, and accountability- Comprehensive health and welfare benefits that serve the needs of you and your family and foster a culture of wellness- Additional benefits and amenities, including paid time-off programs (vacation, sick leave, and holidays)- Hybrid work environment for most positions- or call _- ._
