The role involves translating complex job networks (JCLs) from CA7 into Control-M, ensuring seamless integration and operational continuity.Key Responsibilities:- Install and configure Control-M console on Linux and deploy Control-M agents in Kubernetes environments.- Set up Control-M console and agents on Mainframe systems.- Develop and program job networks (mallas) in Control-M.- Conduct testing and validation of job networks in Control-M.- Analyze existing CA7 job networks and translate them into Control-M equivalents.Armed with an analytical approach, you will unveil strategies, assessments, recommendations, and comprehensive plans to address complex issues while seamlessly aligning both the technical and functional requirements of IT and the business. And finally, you’re open and borderless - naturally inclusive in how you work with others.Required Skills and Experience- Proven experience using **BMC’s conversion tools**to migrate CA7/Mainframe workflows to Control-M/Linux.- Minimum **2**years of experience**in programming and developing job networks in Control-M.- At least **2**years of troubleshooting Control-M job executions.- Minimum **2 years of operational experience**with both CA7 and Control-M.- Hands-on experience running **Control-M agents in Kubernetes**.- Experience managing **CA7/Mainframe**environments.- Experience optimizing job networks in either Control-M or CA7.Preferred Skills and Experience- **BMC Control-M certification**.- Strong knowledge of **Linux**, **Kubernetes**, and **Mainframe**systems**Being You**Diversity is a whole lot more than what we look like or where we come from, it’s how we think and who we are.
