We focus on building successful products and businesses, not just billing out people for day rates.**_The Role_**As a Senior Engagement Lead, you’ll be overseeing multiple projects for both start-ups and scaling clients. This role is more aligned with that of a Program Manager, where you'll be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of a collection of separate, individual projects. Rather than managing the day-to-day details of each project, you will focus on providing strategic oversight, and working with Engagement Leads and Project Managers who will handle the detailed project management.This requires strong leadership, product thinking, and program management skills, as well as excellent client handling, delivery, and account management capabilities. As a Senior Engagement Lead, you’ll need to understand the bigger picture: guiding the overall program strategy and ensuring that all projects under your oversight align with product goals, client expectations, and delivery timelines.Your responsibilities span three core pillars—Product, Account Management, and Project Oversight. Success in this role will come from your ability to balance these three requirements while leading and mentoring a team of Engagement Leads and Project Managers who handle the day-to-day project details.**Product**- Work alongside founders to provide product insight and tangible ‘how to do it’ advice- Help identify and prioritise technical and functional requirements, through rigorous business analysis- Have strong business acumen and understand the commercial implications of product decisions- Understand the value of testable product decisions and an iterative approach to product development- Collaborate closely with design and development teams to find technical solutions to deliver valuable outcomes to users- Be responsible for driving the overall objectives of the customers’ business and ensure that there is a shared understanding amongst the entire team**Account Management**- Communicate directly with our customers on project status and develop strong working relationships- Manage and communicate budgets and timelines clearly- Facilitate technical discussions and clearly communicate technical challenges and opportunities- Communicate your ideas coherently and passionately to clients and colleagues, listening, discussing and acting on feedback.**Project**- Be able to clearly prioritise work for yourself and others in order to maximise value and meet deadlines- Work closely with colleagues in the Engagement Function to solve issues and create efficient and repeatable approaches to product development- Work with design and development teams to balance scope with business objectives, budgets and timelines- Ask for help when you need it, and be open with your skills and abilities**_Your Background and Skills_**- Relevant Bachelors Degree- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within technology and software product development- Solid understanding of Software Development practices and principles- Proven experience delivering new products or product features in software development projects- Experience working with multiple stakeholders and managing client relationships- Strong business mindset with the ability to manage budgets effectively while delivering high-quality products- Proficient in standard tools like Jira and GSuite (Google Sheets)- Experience working in Start-ups and a fast-paced, output-driven scale-up environment (advantageous)- Strong presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to develop ideas iteratively based on feedback and data**_Growth Opportunities_**Our Engagement Leads sit within our Engagement Function, and the next stages of your career will be to progress to being a Project Owner, accountable for multiple projects and customers.
