Technical Bid Engineer

Responsibilities Take full accountability for technical solution by implementing optimal product selection supported by technical value engineering and management of the technical risks until transfer to Operation (ToC) Take the technical lead towards the Region and the projects (wind, hybrid and P2X) across different project stages by coordinating technical functions (Siting, Plant Solutions & SCADA) in a deal team approach with all relevant stakeholders. Coordinate the technical contract negotiations and develop technical / commercial commitments in accordance with Vestas' policies and governance. Ensure a holistic acknowledgement, management and representation of the commercial and legal aspects of technical solutions across project life. Collaborate with other regions and in cross-functional efforts to improve processes and increase efficiency of the technical bids. Qualifications Engineering background combined with commercial insight / interest; Ability to direct and coordinate cross-functional and multinational taskforce; Previous experience in wind energy in technical related area; Previous international experience is desired; Fluent in written and spoken English.
