Our AMC (Application Modernization and Connectivity) division is looking for a highly skilled Project/Program Manager to delivery and manage significant programs/projects with Services revenue approximately $500k-2M or transition/ transformation for a more complex $2M- 10M deal. The Project/Program Manager will work on complex mainframe migration projects, and coordinate/integrate the work efforts and deliverables of a very large multi-function, multi- vendor project team. Some Projects will span multiple regions. And will include managing projects with aggressive but achievable client deadlines. This will be a growing team having experience with managing delivery teams would also be desirable.**Infrastructure modernization**Deploy fit for purpose workload in a Hybrid Cloud infrastructure**Application modernization****Process modernization****Main Responsibilities**- Manages customer project delivery.- Revenue as detailed in Impact section.- Very large/ complex/ single or multiple region.- High risk.- High complexity legal and commercial issues.- Manages project financials including P&L.- Meets or exceeds SOAR approved budgets.- Provides reliable financial forecasts to the management.- Manages business development.- Identifies and develops new opportunities with client.- Supports early qualification and opportunity assessment for large and complex opportunities.- Acts as opportunity manager for high risk deals.- Manages client relationships.- Manages upper level client delivery relationships.- Frequently represents the organization to external customers/clients.- Manages project team.- Manages internal as well as external resources with a team size less than 40 people.- Mentors and encourages skill development of project team members.- Provides detail performance review input and development recommendations for team members.- Delivery Management skills desirable**Knowledge and Skills**- Demonstrates an in-depth understanding of key Services’ operational policies, processes and methodologies applicable to project management.- Speaks with authority to most layers of depth related to project management methods.- Makes use of and contributes to the company's PM Professions community.- Experience in Migration- Any one of PMP Certified, Certified Project Manager (CPM), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Master Project Manager (MPM), PRINCE2 Foundation/PRINCE, Practitioner, Professional in Project Management (PPM)- Experience leading customers with mainframe and legacy modernization initiatives.- Knowledge of major Cloud Provider infrastructure and technologies, such as AWS, Azure, Cloud Foundry, Docker / Kubernetes- Exposure and Experience with mainframe, non-x86 legacy systems and with technologies such as COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2 for z/OS, Assembler, PL/I, Rexx, flat/sequential files, GDGs, and VSA is a pre-requisite.. - Knowledge of one of more of the Micro Focus AMC products- Fluent in written and verbal English and Portuguese. Other EMEA languages preferred**Job Travel**:Our consultants work with enterprise Customers locally, internationally and potentially worldwide.
