If you have questions about the company or open roles you can chat with an insider.Our Finance and Administration department delivers efficient and effective operations and processes that are foundational to EcoVadis’ ability to drive continuous improvement in companies’ sustainable business practices at scale.We are seeking a Billing & Collection Associate to join the Finance team in Mexico.This position is responsible for full-cycle multi-currency accounts receivable; including billing, billing modifications, processing incoming payments, collections and reconciling customer accounts. This position interacts with internal and external customers on a daily basis and must provide a consistently high level of customer service and ethics.**Core responsibilities**:- Research disputed accounts as needed to determine the cause and validity of the delinquency.- Take appropriate action to resolve and/or identify significant collection and billing issues and escalate appropriately,- Process and reconcile payment where required- Obtaining and sharing customer feedback with colleagues and other departments so that products and services can be improved.- Attend workshops and meetings as required.- Respect client confidentiality at all times.- Collaborate with EcoVadis internal stakeholders to resolve any billing and debt collection queries efficiently and effectively.- Assist with a variety of internal projects based on the needs of the organization.- Participate in new pilot projects and work towards proper transition of knowledge to the team.- Act as mentor and trainer to junior team members.- Guide junior team members to reduce AR aging and optimize collections.- Collaborate with the Managers to develop processes to improve productivity and quality of the team.- Work with the Managers to resolve any conflicts that may arise within the team.- Liaise with international colleagues from all departments regularly to assist and add value to the EcoVadis global mission.- Manage some office administrative responsibilities.**Qualifications**- Fluency in Spanish and English is a must. Additional languages will be a plus.- At least 2-3 years experience of working in billing and collection with experience is required.- Degree in a Business, Management or Finance related discipline would be preferred, but applicants with other backgrounds will be considered.- Strong interpersonal skills- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and telephone)- Good understanding of accounting principles- Must be skilled in Microsoft Office tools**We are looking a person who is**:- customer service oriented- goal/results and solutions driven- self-motivated- reliable, dependable and honest- professional, tactful and sensitive- persistent, assertive and competitive natured- who has a positive attitude- who enjoys a fast paced environment**Additional Information**- ** Location**:Mexico City (Calz.
