Descripción y detalle de las actividadesReporting to the Plant Manager, the Operation Manager role is to provide leadership and management of a multi-function team in the areas of safety, quality, Engineering, and cost performance over Spectra-strip product lines. The Operation Manager is accountable for meetings and improving the business P&L. Driving a culture of continuous improvement in all facets of the operation is necessary for success Partners with Materials, Maintenance, Engineering, Quality and Production Teams to set production center goals and objectives that align with the needs of the Customer and BU targets. The role consists of direct responsibility for the efficient operations of Spectra Strip production line. Accountable for the business P&L, meeting and improving financial margins. Determining and implementing world class quality control mindset and standards. Facilitate effective and actionable Gemba walks utilizing KPIs to meet performance objectives and drive continuous improvement. Provides leadership to junior staff including establishing objectives, setting goals, and managing accountability for attaining deliverables. Manages production operation expenses and budgets for the production center, including direct and indirect manufacturing expenses and capital expenses. Coordinate NPI activities to manage introduction of new product meting quality and productivity standards. Ensuring use of technical review process to release NPI products.
