Process engineering technician is responsible for developing and implementing optimal, plastic molding manufacturing processes and methods in accordance with product specifications and quality standards of the department. Supports improvement to plastic molding production processes, cycle times, methods, controls & SMED. Also supports manufacturing launch for new or revised products. Compliance with Aptiv code of conduct.**Your Role**:- Responsible of accomplish safety metrics by following safety polices such as LOTO.- Follow environmental policy correctly.- Development and audit of manufacturing processes for plastic molding parts.- Responsible of all process documentation such as process sheet, mold set up, startup check list in order to meet with company procedures and official requirements.- Direct support to operations for key metrics improvements OEE, Scrap, including generating actions plan to improve.- Evaluates and solves production problems associated with all plastic molding processes, and/or methods. Implements root cause analysis and engages manufacturing associates and technicians in problem solving methods.- Develops and troubleshoots robot routines and its fixtures (EOAT) to ensure no operation disruptions.- Performs role with minimum supervision and goal achievement.- Perform capability studies for critical to quality characteristics.- Daily production plan review and follow up.- All other tasks assigned by supervisor.**My Background**:- Coursing last semesters of Bachelor degree in Electromechanical, Mechanical, Mechatronic or Electrical Engineering (preferred)- Basic English 50%.- Works in a team environment to ensure efficient operation of machinery and to implement process improvements.- High Analytical skills.- Ability for set ups in plastic injection equipment - process.- Computer skills: Outlook, Microsoft office, M Teams, AutoCAD- Availability to travel to US & Mexico when required.**Aptiv Rewards & Advantages**:- Interesting career in a leading, world-recognized company;- Opportunity to professional growth and personal development in an international environment- Ability to implement own ideas and solutions**Some see differences.
