Executing support activities to plants in the area of ISO14001, support and guidance in the area of waste (Special Handling Waste, Hazardous Waste, Mining Metallurgical Waste, etc), environmental studies, Environmental Management System compliance.**Main Responsibilities**- Support in the Environmental Management System- Ensure proper implementation of ISO 14001- Support in the review of the environmental management system for internal and external ISO 14001 audits.- Waste Management- ATRP (Hazardous Waste Warehouse), manifests process, generation log, supplier permits, disposal, etc.- Ensure environmental compliance with waste service providers: municipal, state and federal (if applicable) and conduct an annual review of them.- Update Nemak's hazardous waste generation list (safety data sheets, CRIT study, generation time).- Review with waste suppliers, their transportation, collection and disposal permit.- Registration, deregistration from SEMARNAT generation list.- Environmental Studies- Coordinate the environmental studies of the plants (air, water, emissions, noise, soil, waste, etc.) as well as manage and review the results obtained from these studies to ensure environmental compliance.**Position Requirements**- Bachelor's Degree, Environmental Engineer, Industrial Engineer, Chemical Engineer.- Mexican Environmental Legislation- ISO 14001 Standard- ISO 14001 Internal Auditor Course- SAP System- Decision Making- Communication- Time Management- Planning- Conflict Management- At Nemak, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (D&I) play a fundamental role in everything we do and are the underlying platform on which our culture is built.
