Job DescriptionAPPLYThe plant manager is responsible of leading the Plant to operate and provide products and services with the quality and time expected; in an efficient and cost effective manner while meeting company business targets.**MAIN FUNCTIONS**:Stablish and ensure the plant operates in optimal conditions and safety cultureStablish and maintain company processes to ensure maximum capacity and resource utilizationDevelop strategies to achieve QVC targetsProvide solid, consistent leadership, accountability and mentoring to all employeesLead the plant's efforts to develop personnelResponsible for P&L of the business unit**Lead use of tools to improve business conditions such as**: ICIM, Shainin, Lean, Problem Solving, etcLead initiatives to reduce cost and increase productivity and deliveryMAIN SKILLSStrong use of Continuous Improvement and Problem Solving tools: ICIM/ Shainin / other**Finance knowledge**: P&L, Forecasting, budgets.Coaching and management skills**Flexibility to change**: move to other location/ areaStrategic thinkingResults orientedStrong team management skills**Computer systems such as**: Microsoft Office, Minitab, SAP are a mustExperience in automotive harness manufacturing industy highly preferredEDUCATIONBachelors in Engineering or other requiredMaster degree is highly desiredBilingual (English/Spanish)We arean equal employment opportunity employer.
