Justin Alexander is a private, family-owned company with offices in the Netherlands, United States, United Kingdom and Hong Kong, and its collections are sold by more than 2,200 authorized retailers worldwide.Our Product Department is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Merchandiser to join our dynamic team This role oversees European merchandising feedback collection & integration, trend analysis, and strategic planning, while conducting competitor research, coordinating global pricing, supporting new collection development and managing product updates, launches & partnerships. They will facilitate customs operations, product inspections and training, ensuring product quality and compliance. Collaboration is key as you'll be working closely with Product, Marketing and Client Services teams.**Responsibilities**:The best person for this role is a creative, highly organized and analytical individual, with a dynamic skillset both online and handling physical product.Merchandising- Responsible for reporting European Merchandising feedback on all brands to the North American Team for global collaboration- Create Trend Reports and mood boards throughout the year to present in bi-annual design meetings- Prepare a merchandising plan including collection must-haves, suggested trends, themes, assortment gaps per brand for Europe & UK- Maintain competitor research in Bridal, RTW, Runway, Accessories, etc. to predict future trends that will be profitable- Collect feedback from sales representatives and retailers to stay current with trends in different regions; Creating a sustainable quarterly travel schedule with stores visit and trade events- Assist with the global pricing of all new styles for each collection- Assist with line review and trade show set up: unpacking, steaming, organizing showroom, tagging product, and merchandising samples- Participate in selecting and creating the new line for each collection with Product Team- Maintain any new/additional style updates in Centric for EU White Labels- Support White Label partners in Europe and expand the white label division in partnership with Sales Management- Team with Marketing to merchandise websites PLPs for each brand during B2C launches and website refreshes- If requested, create SKUs and corresponding attributes, descriptions, sizing, options, and other style info into PLM systemCustoms- Partner with EU Operations to inspect product, returns, etc. as needed- Partner with customer service to run the customs department in Europe.- Submit custom orders to factories.- Inspect Custom product orders to ensure all modifications are correct prior to shippingProduct Ops- Conduct product training for internal team and customers- Full Inventory Inspections for Product Issues and Aid in Communicating a resolution with our Factories- Inspect Custom product orders to ensure all modifications are correct prior to shipping- Support EU shows and shoots with product selection, pulling samples, supporting at trade shows, etc.- Own customs creation and communication and prepare with PO placement**Qualifications**:- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Marketing or a related field- 3+ years of work experience in merchandising, preferably in the bridal or high-end fashion industry- Strong knowledge of current fashion trends and an eye for design.- Proficiency in PLM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.- Multilingual: Ability to speak and write in English fluently; other languages a plus- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.- Detail-oriented and highly organized.- Strong public speaking and presentation skills
