**You will oversee and perform Quality activities to assure customer satisfaction by having direct & frequent contact with customer and/or internal/external cross-functional team impact as requested. You will lead & support projects related to get customer certifications for the plant, and will be the driver of the effective execution of Quality Projects and the quality management system.****Your role**- Lead customer satisfaction through effective tracking on Customer Score Card- Successful interface with Supply Based, Supply Chain, 3PL, Manufacturing Engineer & Applications Engineer related to associate projects / task for Customer Requirements- Keep Internal data on Garrett aligned with the customer’s portal- Report, Track & Lead 8D/CAR teams to contain and permanently resolve quality issues according to customer expectations for response time and technical data. Works with and across functions as needed for issue resolution. This responsibility requires a strong knowledge of all production lines and controls related to assigned customer- Contribute to achieve Plant Quality metrics- Completion and documentation of all phases of the Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) process- Prepare and submit all necessary PPAP documentation per AIAG guidelines, approving customer and internally required quality deliverables such as, PPAP, ECN, etc.). In conjunction with NPI Leader / Manager / Program manager, the Quality Engineer is responsible from Quality side for the pilot runs of new launches, assuring that proper controls are in place- Obtain customer approvals (i.e. homologation, process changes/upgrades) as required for changes to products, processes and/or suppliers- Be responsible of Green Run analysis and provide support for Warranty analysis activities, including follow up of RMA process until Debit be completed or negated- Be responsible of quick kaizen, Kaizen events & knowledge sharing to ensure Continuous Improvement throughout the process.- Be responsible for reporting any situation that could endanger the HSE management system.- Develop, implement and document in a consistent quality management system based on quality requirements and aligned with customers- Coordinate, test and prepare of audits of the quality management system. (IATF-16949, external, internal and CSR audits)**Your profile**- 3 years and more of quality experience- Good technical knowledge on Quality Systems & Standards- Experience with direct customer communication
