The Role: Technology Director :
The Technology Director will bring technology and business domain expertise, becoming a trusted advisor for our customers and offering guidance and mentorship for our Tech Leads and their teams. This role will work with large and strategic customers, collaborating with multiple teams and stakeholders across the client's organization.

Technology Directors will be responsible for supporting the entire software development life cycle (SDLC) and consulting with our customers to design and implement the best solutions for their business. As a Technology Director, you will be working closely with other senior technologists, both on our customer's team and across Wizeline groups, driving strategic decisions, improving our methodologies, and identifying technology trends that will help us deliver customer satisfaction and growth.

Your Day-to-Day :
This job posting is for a Technology Director on our team. Here's what you'll be doing in your day-to-day work:

  • Ensure design and components are extensible across multiple projects
  • Document and share knowledge across the organization
  • Envision solutions and choose technologies that will solve our clients' problems
  • Responsible for overall technical performance; following Wizeline Solutions framework
  • Create and execute based on multi-year technology roadmaps for one or more projects. Achieving technical economies of scale across multiple teams
  • Enable technology best practices across the entire SDLC
  • Define required staff profiles for a project and help the team achieve their full potential, defining performance and training programs
  • Work in collaborative product and platform teams at both the Wizeline and our client levels
  • Conduct technical design reviews; auditing projects to ensure best practices are followed
  • Coaching and Mentoring
  • Mentor and coach Tech Leads and teams
  • Influence a large team or multiple projects to achieve goals
  • Complete technical performance assessments for his/her team
  • Define staff profile, performance, and training standards

Must-have Skills :

  • 10+ years of engineering leadership experience with a strong track record of successful development and delivery of complex, enterprise-class cloud solutions that resulted in material market impact with a clear understanding of software development lifecycle, DevOps, and agile methodologies
  • Experience working with UX Designers, Software Engineers, and multidisciplinary teams, on a collaborative process to define product strategy and roadmap
  • Systems-thinker who can continuously reinvent and improve how to do things
  • Strong team player who supports their team in all regards and embraces ownership, accountability, and responsibility for the team's work
  • Outgoing and positive thinking about possibilities, where others see problems you see challenges as opportunities
  • Storyteller with strong English skills who communicates effectively and inspires others with your vision
  • Experience operating autonomously and leading large-scale efforts across multiple teams and functions, with stakeholders in different disciplines and multiple regions
  • Analytical and problem-solving experience with large-scale platforms, infrastructure, and organizations
  • Effective in setting direction, addressing competing priorities, and managing change
  • A consultative and customer-centric approach to solving challenges
