BBS Automation Guadalajara is in the process of expansion, and we want to add talent to our team As a leader in custom automation solutions, we are dedicated to bringing together a team of experts passionate about innovation and technologyWe are looking for Application EngineerObjectiveThe Application Engineer is responsible for providing technical support and solutions to customers, assisting in the integration and optimization of the company’s products and services.**Responsibilities**:- Responsible for conceptual development, cost model preparation, and detailed technical proposal writing for various automation equipment and projects.- Gather all necessary technical information and customer specifications from Engineering and Sales to prepare detailed proposals.- Review the design, performance, and general requirements of systems and functional data with the engineering group.- Obtain and prepare detailed estimates of time, quantities, labor, and material costs needed for work areas such as product design, testing, machinery construction, equipment installation, and manufacturing processes.- Develop and prepare detailed proposals for potential and existing accounts/clients.- Conduct a wide variety of technical evaluations of Customer and Market requirements.- Transfer technical information/details and work closely with the project team during project initiation, as well as participate in the evaluation process after full project delivery for continuous improvement.**Qualifications**:- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Design/Engineering, or equivalent.- Strong technical assessment and presentation skills, with knowledge in preparing complex proposals and quotes.- Demonstrated technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and design tools such as 2D and 3D ACAD or SolidWorks software.
