Company Description
Paradero Hotels opened in 2021, the first experience-inclusive hotel brand in Mexico/North America. Since opening in February, we have appeared in 225+ major publications (CNT, AD, T&L, NYT, etc) and gained 150k Instagram followers. Paradero has secured additional real estate to develop branded residences integrated into our operations. We look to grow to other destinations in Mexico and/or the US. Website: Paradero Hotels.

The hotel is located in Todos Santos, a destination near Cabo with a vibrant lifestyle featuring empty surf breaks, organic produce, and best kite surfing/diving, located 45 mins away from SJD Int Airport.

Job Description
The Role: Sales Manager or Director, a critical position for our business. If you are:

  • A hustler that understands that resources are sometimes scarce and hacks are necessary to solve problems;
  • Willing to fail over and over again knowing that success will come;
  • Independent and experienced, capable of managing and initiating projects on your own and delivering results under a changing environment;
  • Almost a cynic and need to find out what is what for yourself by digging deep into the data;
  • Willing to get deep into our client's minds to figure out the best way to onboard them, regardless of the hassle;
  • Caring for values and the community.

Main Responsibilities:
Owning and managing Paradero's sales funnel(s):

  • Weddings
  • Team Transformations (Corporate Retreats)
  • Travel Agents
  • Tour Operators
  • Destination Management Companies

Compensation: Salary is competitive and negotiable. Opportunity to earn an attractive bonus based on results and performance. Location: CA, Baja and/or CDMX, Sales office based in CDMX.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent written English & communication skills.
  • A passion for creativity, design, and a desire to learn.
  • Intermediate or better knowledge of word processing tools such as Microsoft Word, Google Docs, etc.
  • Experience with mailing systems, knowledge of the basics of email-marketing.
  • Previous experience in hotel reservations roles.
  • An analytical mindset that guides your intuition; you'll need to make data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to work together with marketing teams translating customer needs into actionable items.
  • Leadership mindset and behavior.
