Mexico Accounting AnalystCalle Juan Ignacio Ramón 801 Ote, Monterrey, NL 64000MROFFFull-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 7:30am - 5:30pmOVERVIEW:Working as Full-time Mexico Accounting Analyst, you will enjoy the opportunity of leading and performing a variety of accounting duties.RESPONSIBILITIES:The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:- Processing and reviewing monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting period close activities, including general ledger reconciliations, account analysis, and statutory reporting- Analyzing accounting processes focused on enhancements and efficiencies for various accounting systems and procedures- Designing and managing projects to ensure compliance, enhance, and improve the financial accounting needs of the company- Measuring, monitoring, coordinating, and communicating status updates on various accounting projects and goals- Setting strategic goals including developing, training, and motivating others to optimize business results- Performing special projects, analysis, and other administrative tasks as necessaryREQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:- Possess or are working towards a bachelor's degree in an Accounting OR have relevant work experience- Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite- Excellent written and oral communication skills- Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented- Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency- Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities- Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills- Willingness to manage results driven projects- Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment- Work independently as well as in a team environment- Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork- Ability to speak fluent Spanish and EnglishPREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:- Proficient using PeopleSoft- Possess a valid United States VisaABOUT US:Since 1967 Fastenal has grown as a distributor of industrial and construction supplies from a single branch to a Fortune 500 company with over 3,000 servicing locations, each providing tailored local inventory and personal service for our customers.
