They will also work closely with our DevOps team and play a role in helping us migrate our environment to the cloud (AWS).The RoleTroubleshoot, diagnose and fix production software issues; develop monitoring solutions; perform software maintenance and configuration; implement the fixes for internally developed code; update, track and resolve technical challengesProvide operations-level support for batch processing systemsWork with Engineering team to upgrade existing systems and assist in working to eliminate single points of failureAutomate the provisioning of environmentsDesign and develop automation workflows; perform unit tests and conduct review to make sure your work is rigorously designed, elegantly coded, and effectively tuned for platform performance, and assess the overall quality of delivered componentsTroubleshoot problems, involving the appropriate resources and driving resolution of issues with a focus on minimizing impact to our customersParticipate to the Agile DevOps design, development, testing, and release of new capabilities and features with focus on release and post-production supportRepresent production support for the suite of apps in the domain in Agile stand-ups, planning sessions and deployment activitiesDrive improvements to processes and design enhancements to automation to continuously improve the production environmentIdentify reoccurring issues and work with IT & business partners to remediate using the problem management processExperience3+ years’ of hands-on Windows operating systems engineering and troubleshootingExperience with DevOps, specifically automationAutomation/configuration management using Chef, Ansible, SCCM, etc.**Ability to use a wide variety of technologies, including**: open source technologies, cloud services (AWS, Azure), IIS, Apache, Tomcat, F5, Azure DevOps, CI/CD, APMA working understanding of code and script (Powershell,.Net, Python, Ruby, AngularJs, NodeJs, and/or Go)Detail-orientedExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong organizational skills with ability to juggle multiple tasks at onceWork independently and maintain professionalism under pressureAbility to identify problems before they happen and implement solutions that detect and prevent outagesAccurately prioritize projects, make sound judgments, and work to improve the customer experienceKnowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available serviceStrong critical thinker with problem solving aptitudeBachelor’s Degree or equivalent experiencHere at Atos, we want all of our employees to feel valued, appreciated, and free to be who they are at work.
