Job ID: 23059- Location: Tlajomulco, MXThe position of Advanced Purchasing is located within the global purchasing team in Electrification Solutions and plays a key contribution to the overall global success of Vitesco Technologies as well as in the Region North America. You will be the key link between supplier base and product line taking over responsibility for Bill of Material costing and timing for all components within a project. You are the perfect fit for Advanced Purchasing in the tremendously growing field of automotive electrification, if:**Job description**:- You screen global supply bases in order to identify technical & commercial white spots & opportunities and drive localization into NA- You drive acquisition activities for worldwide customers in the Region North America- You perform cost-oriented supplier research for new technologies and introduce them to PUR & R&D- You run commercial supplier ratings, initiate & execute supplier development strategies- You run design for - manufacturing (DFM )& cost (DTC) workshops to secure producible cost-effective products- You co-operate with the Advanced Value Engineering team for new technologies- You co-operate with Supplier Quality Management team and R&D department to prepare and perform supplier selections- You are part of defining local supplier strategy and local benchmark activities in cooperation with Central Purchasing- You drive expert leadership in order to improve component value with focus on positive commercial effects- You perform early technical & commercial alignments with suppliers (ESI) to reach the overall value sweet spot- You manage our supplier base to fulfill contracted timing and quality from nomination until SOP and Ramp-up of international customer projects- You are driving technical & commercial gap closure (cost reduction programs)**Job requirements**:- You are an open minded & passionate person- You have completed your studies with a (technical-)commercial background- You gained experiences in the relevant field of work, ideally in the area of supplier management or industrial engineering for mechanical components- You are confident in the co-work with Suppliers- You show fluent English language skills (written & spoken)- You demonstrate Project Management capabilities- You are willing to travel (approx. 20%)**Working Time**: Full time**Your Contact Partner**: JESSICA PAOLA NAVARROVitesco Technologies is a leading international developer and manufacturer of state-of-the-art powertrain technologies for sustainable mobility.
