Production Supervisor

**Responsibilities**:- Set daily/weekly/monthly goals and communicate them to employees.- Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities.- Supervise and train employees.- Ensure the safe use of equipment and proper use of PPE.- Verify production according to specifications.- Submit reports on performance and progress.- Identify efficiency issues and suggest improvements.- Train new employees on how to use machinery safely and follow procedures (work instructions).- Enforce strict company standards.**Minimum Requirements**:- Technical degree/Incomplete degree in Engineering or a similar field.- Proven experience as a production supervisor or similar role (minimum of 3 years of experience).- Experience in the use of various types of machinery and manufacturing tools.- Advanced MS Office skills.- Organizational and leadership skills.- Communication and interpersonal skills.- Self-motivated with a results-oriented approach.- Problem-solving skills.- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing (5S, TPM, Kaizens, 7 wastes, etc.) is a plus.- Experience with automotive quality systems IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 is a plus.- _Allient Inc. provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.
