Key Account Manager - Rail Segment, MexicoAs a Key Account Manager for Hempel's Rail segment, you will drive business growth by selling the organization’s products through diverse B2B channels within your designated territory, segment, or account. Proactively pursue sales leads, visit both new and existing customers, and assess their needs to recommend tailored products and services. Respond to inquiries, negotiate pricing and delivery terms within your authority, and close sales to achieve revenue goals. Build and nurture strong relationships with prospective customers, creating opportunities for future sales and long-term repeat business.Here's some of the other things you can look forward to:- Partner with current and potential customers in the Rail segment to highlight how our solutions can help with their needs- Gain insights into the Applicators' customer base, production capabilities, and strategies to attain House preferred status.- Develop long-term sales plans for key customers and accounts and monitor and adapt sales activities so that these objectives are met.- Work with a multidisciplinary team who all aim to connect with customers.- Communicate effectively with the team regarding forecasting, support, and revenue opportunities.Qualifications:We anticipate that you will have a proven track record of selling products to key decision-makers in the rail industry. You should also possess strong negotiation skills and the ability to maintain executive presence during presentations. To excel in this role, you will need the following:- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.- Should be based in Mexico.- 3 to 5 years of experience in the rail industry.- Demonstrated expertise in value-based selling and cultivating strong relationships.- Should have a well-organized, independent, and proactive mindset.- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Access, Excel, and PowerPoint.- Experience with CRM systems or similar platforms.- Willingness to travel overnight (50-65%).- NACE Level 2 certification is highly preferred.Application dueSeniority LevelMid-Senior levelJob FunctionsCustomer Service, Sales, Strategy / PlanningIndustryChemicals- At Hempel, you’re welcomed to a global community of +7000 colleagues around the world.
