Manufacturing operations reside in Hendersonville, NC, Pittsburgh, PA, Plympton, MA, Christiansburg, VA, Acuna, MX and Tijuana, MX.**Job Description**:The Indirect Purchasing Supervisor will direct and manage the Indirect Purchases department (MRO), where the responsabilities and activities include:**RESPONSIBILITY AND AUTHORITY**:- Directs the purchasing department in making domestic and international indirect purchases.- Directs the purchasing department in negotiation and contracts with suppliers.- Ensures integrity in all purchases and contracts generated.- Expedites indirect material as well as office supplies, tools and equipment (MRO)- Authorization to handle purchases made by Current and request the best price for the requested material.- Implements Lean Manufacturing procedures in the department.- Supervision and evaluation of the employees of the Purchasing Department.**FUNCTIONS AND ACTIVITIES**:- Responsible for the Purchasing and Tool Crib department.- Verifies the purchase and delivery of indirect, office materials, tools, and equipment (MRO).- Check the delivery time of materials.- Maintains communication with suppliers.- Maintains communication with all plant departments that need their service.- Ensures security procedures in purchases.- Responsible for verifying the ISO9001 procedures and systems used in the department.- Verifies implemented methods of assigned Lean Manufacturing projects in his department.- Check invoices for credit card statements.- Department payroll review and overtime control.- Holds meetings in the department about results and information.**Qualifications**:Bachelor degree in Buisiness Administration or related.Experience of 2 years of more in the Indirect Purchasing Department. Desired on supervision.A fluently speaker in English and Spanish. This is strongly required.Able to handle multiple tasks with excelent results.Able to work under preasure.Able to serve internal customers (departments)Proactive, Customer Service oriented.Ethics and integrity.Able to follow directions, as well as to have authority to take desicions.Excellent comunication skillsSAP knowledge.Boicing Knowledge desired.Visa to travel to USA.**Must be located in Acuna MX.
