Check out our blog post on this topic and more here.**Responsibilities**:Design, build, and maintain engineering solutions that drive innovation across Infrastructure and broader Dropbox teamsParticipate in code reviews and proactively address technical debt to improve long-term maintainability and velocityCollaborate with engineers, architects, TPMs, and cross-functional partners to define requirements and deliver on strategic initiativesPartner with senior and staff engineers to implement modern standards and best practices across critical systemsOn-call work may be necessary occasionally to help address bugs, outages, or other operational issues, with the goal of maintaining a stable and high-quality experience for our customers.**Requirements**:5+ years of professional software engineering experience with a proven track record of delivering high-quality, production-ready systemsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experienceStrong expertise in backend development, with a focus on building scalable, reliable, and maintainable architecturesFamiliarity with modern infrastructure practices, including containers, orchestration, and observabilityPreferred QualificationsProficiency in one or more modern programming languages, such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, Python, or GoPractical experience deploying and operating services in production on cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or AzureCompany DescriptionDropbox isn’t just a workplace—it’s a living lab for more enlightened ways of working.
