Production Team Leader

As a PRODUCTION TEAM LEADER, you will coordinate the fulfillment of production programs by leading human and technical resources and aligning them with safety, quality and cost goals.You will report to a Plant Manager.**Key Responsibilities**- Achieves all production objectives through accurate planning to meet production schedules and delivering high quality products, which meet specifications.- Keep operating procedures up to date and ensure compliance.- Guarantee resources to meet programs.- Detect and eliminate unsafe working conditions by developing and supervising operating procedures.- Follow personnel training and certification programs.- Ensure compliance with the program of preventive and corrective maintenance to equipment in the area.- Adapt and manufacture products in compliance with quality specifications.**Qualifications**- Previous experience preferred in chemical industry- Bachelors of Engineering.- 3 years of supervisory or management experience in a Manufacturing or Production environment- Quality and continuous improvement tools.- Swift shifts.- Intermediate or advanced English.**ABOUT US**:**PPG: WE PROTECT AND BEAUTIFY THE WORLD****The PPG Way**Every single day at PPG:**We partner with customers to create mutual value.**We are insightful, dedicated and proactive.
