This role is based in our Mexico office, working in all Mexican and The Caribbean territory. This space is a major growth engine for the company for the next 5 years. The industries we are pursuing are underserved by the market research industry with significant information gaps, particularly in international markets.We need a consultative salesperson who enjoys calling into organizations and government institutions, is intellectually curious and thrives on complex sales. The role will develop the clients’ needs, match, and align those needs with the appropriate solutions, demonstrate our award-winning products and services, and win new business. This career is demanding, and it needs someone who is highly organized with an entrepreneurial drive to succeed.This post reports to the Regional Sales Director, LATAM. If you have a solid degree in business and career aspirations to work in the information industry, and/or international business and/or work alongside long-term strategy makers, Euromonitor is a place where you will grow personally and professionally**Key responsibilities**:- Create a sales plan on how to reach sales targets and ensure implementation of the plan.- Research a strong and efficient prospect list.- Take ownership of your personal sales targets.- Provide training sessions on the system and account management to staff.- Be creative and think the segment strategically to take achieve goals selling to the highest potential clients.- Work closely with colleagues across different teams, departments, and offices to develop the best solution for clients.- Map out key departments and executives within existing clients- Map out and monitor key users within existing subscriptions- Create an agenda for client facing meetings throughout the year to promote training and support on Passport usage- Prepare collateral materials for clients such as decks, videos, and presentations- Keep track on upcoming contract renewals- Identify potential growth and upsell areas within existing contracts- Attend client meetings with or without other account managers for demonstrations and presentation**Requirements**:**Skills/Proficiencies required**:- Commercial awareness and self-motivated- Knowledge or interest in international markets and market research- Excellent oral and written communication skills- Energy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude- Goal orientated, target driven and highly organized- Able to work under pressure to produce results- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA will help accelerate your success**Benefits****Why work for Euromonitor?****Our values**- We act with **integrity**:- We are **curious** about the world- We are stronger **together**:- We seek to **empower**:- We find strength in **diversity****International**: not only do we have a very multinational workforce in each office but we are all dealing with our 16 offices worldwide on a daily basis.
