The Process Technician will be responsible for the assembly process in an assembly cell from set-up to testing.**Responsibilities**:Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.- Monitors & trouble shoots electrical & mechanical equipment used in the assembly process to build hydrostatic pumps, motors and components- Provide line support for the assembly cell and is the next level of escalation after the cell expert for manufacturing issues related to safety and process quality- Assist in the daily activities of implementing process changes and problem solving on the shop floor- Assists in the prove-out of new processes and process changes by gathering data, making observations about the process, and communicating ideas to improve results- Works closely with the Process Engineer**Background & Skills**:- Minimum of an AA degree or equivalent from Technical School and 6 months related experience on Danfoss products- Desire for 4-year degree in Industrial Technology, Industrial Engineering, Mfg. Engineering or ME/AgE- Mechanical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing processes- Working knowledge of quality/problem solving tools (PPAP, Capability studies, PFMEA, Gauge R&R, 4-Step, 8D, Fishbone)- Computer skills, (Microsoft Office, PLC, test stand)- Ability to read and understand hydraulic & electrical schematics- Familiarity with TPM and SMED techniques- Customer Service mindset and the ability to stay calm under pressure are necessary traits- Outstanding safety record and approach to behavioral based safety using proper PPE are requirements**Danfoss - Engineering Tomorrow**:At Danfoss, we are engineering solutions that allow the world to use resources in smarter ways - driving the sustainable transformation of tomorrow.
