Contracts Specialist_****Location: Mexico- remote****_ Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities_**- Responsible for all new agreements as well as annual renewals related to Information Technology for hardware, software, professional services, SaaS, OffPrem/ onPrem Solutions, and subscription-based licensing.- Perform the preparation, review, and administration of contracts and/or licenses to ensure compliance with specifications, organizational policies, and applicable regulations.- Draft and review agreements, working closely with external parties, legal, risk, information security, internal stakeholder teams, and others to ensure contracts meet business goals and requirements.- Pre-sales negotiation of favorable terms, pricing, and conditions of contracts.- Ensures that all new agreements and renewals are completed on time and within the contractual guidelines to avoid penalties or inability to act on requests because of timing issues.- Maintain the contract management process to ensure efficient contract execution and archiving within White Cap's CMS, Conga.- Creates purchase requests, purchase orders, purchase order approvals, and processing of the invoice once received.- Reports weekly on IT Spend to ensure the annual maintenance forecast is accurate and can report out projection of spend 5 years out.- Understands the complete lifecycle of a contract for existing vendors, along with new vendors that are being onboarded.- IT Vendor Management including facilitating continued partnerships with vendors, including working closely with VARs, OEMs, channel partners and direct vendor partners.- Establishing RFP's as required**_ Preferred Qualifications_**- High School Diploma or GED strongly preferred.- Typically requires a bachelor's degree and 4+ years of relevant experience- 2-5 years' experience in contract negotiation- Understands the lifecycle of a contract.- Knowledge of Novatus / Conga, or other contract management system a Plus.- Under general supervision, exercises some judgment in accordance with well-defined policies, procedures, and techniques.- Specialized skills training/certification may be required.**_ _**_Environmental Job Requirements_**Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about.
