This role will be responsible for building, maintaining and supporting data warehousing solutions with an emphasis on creating automated and/or algorithmic approaches that reduce or replace manual effort. You will be instrumental in ensuring access to clean, consistent and logical data to stakeholders in a wide variety of roles.***To be considered an applicant you must reside in Mexico****What You'll Do**- Build and maintain scalable scheduled jobs to extract, load and transform data, in addition to troubleshooting and fixing problems with existing processes using a modern tech stack that includes Airflow, Snowflake, and AWS- Establish relationships with key stakeholders and work closely with them in gathering requirements, gaining business context, and completing projects end-to-end- Build and maintain data models, experiments, algorithms and related business and financial reporting logic- Production support required on a rotational basis- Mentor and coach more junior team members- Transform low-value datasets into highly structured and consistent data models for use by analysts, data scientists and reporting tools- Develop scalable, efficient, and automated processes and data pipelines, in addition to diagnosing and debugging problems with existing structures- Make recommendations to improve technical systems and infrastructure**Who You Are**- 5 - 8 years of technology background are desired, preferably in data/analytics, and at least some programming experience required- Advanced SQL skills are required- Scripting skills in 1 or 2 languages (BASH/Python/JavaScript)- Experience with Cloud OLAP database platforms such as Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery.- Familiarity with ETL\ELT processes and common data transformation techniques (e.g. normalization and denormalization, string parsing, primary key generation)- Experience with version control software such as Git- Experience pulling data from an API using Python and Airflow (or similar technology)- Experience in dimensional data modeling- Exposure to Amazon Web Services, or Linux command- Possess at least a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (economics, statistics, business, computer science) or equivalent experience, advanced degree a plus- Quantitative mindset and passion for data- Able to deal with ambiguity and problem-solve independently- Self-starter: able to succeed and have an impact with mínimal direction- Ambitious, self-motivated, and goal-oriented- Excellent time management skills- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written**_**Please submit your resume in English for review. **_**- Fluent in English**_Compensation: Gross Annual Pesos Base Salary Range: _**_$680,000.00 - $1, _****_ Benefits: Health+Vision+Dental+Equity_****_ #LI-REMOTE_****_ #LI-GC1_****_ INDSP_****Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at BigCommerce**Our employees make the difference.
