Job Vacancies- BackQuality Process & Project EngineerRamos Arizpe, Mexico | Quality, Health & Safety | Experienced | Unlimited | July 25, 2025SHARE- Job Description- Role Summary- Ensure the quality of current processes and new projects through process validation, development and implementation of quality plans, risk analysis, and execution of continuous improvement initiatives. Guarantee that products meet customer requirements and internal standards from their introduction to mass production.Enhance customer satisfaction through efficient complaint management, failure analysis, technical support, and the implementation of corrective and preventive actions focused on continuous improvement.- Main TasksEvaluate and monitor manufacturing process performance to ensure stability and capability.-Implement in-process quality controls (Poka-Yoke, SPC, Control Plans, etc.).-Investigate and resolve quality issues using root cause analysis tools (5 Whys, Ishikawa, 8D).-Define and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) to reduce scrap and nonconformities.-Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, and other departments to drive continuous improvement.-Participate in Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) for new projects.-Prepare and maintain quality documentation such as Control Plans, FMEA, and PPAP for product launches. -Ensure customer requirements are implemented in new product launches.-Coordinate and support quality audits for process and product approvals.-Manage and follow up on customer complaints, ensuring structured responses (8D reports).-Act as the Customer Representative within the Quality Management System.-Maintain proper quality records and ensure compliance with internal and customer standards.-Have the authority to stop production or shipments when quality, safety, or environmental risks are identified.-Promote a zero-accident culture and ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality policies.- Your Profile**Requirements**:- Education:- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.- Experience:- Minimum 2 years of experience, preferably in the automotive industry, performing similar quality-related activities.Experience managing personnel and coordinating cross-functional teams.- Essential Knowledge:- English proficiency at B2 level (or higher).Quality Management Systems (QMS).Problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa).Quality standards and related regulations.Measurement instruments and techniques.Statistical Process Control (SPC).IATF 16949 requirements.Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC).Corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) and their effective implementation.- Skills:- Strong problem-solving abilities.Leadership and team collaboration.Negotiation and communication skills.Results-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.Customer service-focused approach, ensuring alignment with client requirements.Proactive in the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.Ability to manage and develop team members effectively.- #LI-OnSite- We offer- We offer benefits that exceed those required by law, a multicultural work environment, and a setting conducive to professional development and growth.- Are you full of ideas?
