Make It With Pride.**Working as part of a cross-functional team you lead the RDQ activities required to complete new product development and maintain portfolios and/or productivity projects keeping in mind the goal to deliver the desired consumer experience.**How you will contribute**You will work independently to plan, lead and coordinate technical projects in line with RDQ, marketing and manufacturing requirements You will effectively communicate status and risks and plan, lead and coordinate pilot plant and factory trials in accordance with good manufacturing practice and HACCP requirements. In addition, you will plan, lead and coordinate development activities (e.g. product shelf-life testing, designing for quality, consumer test preparation. etc.). To provide direction for product development, you will use digital simulation models to obtain, understand and interpret consumer insights and commercial information. Play a key role in ensuring that complex projects are performed and supervised effectively and accurately within agreed timescales and to appropriate quality standards. This role focuses on:- Adequate execution of the Budget and CAPEX of the area- Compliance with all policies, procedures and guidelines of Mondelez International, as well as compliance with local Regulations.- Maintenance of data or internal R&D information: ION, Spec Excellence, Quality Suite, DSA, among others.- Influence the Business Unit in strategic plans through technical leadership.- Contribute to the maintenance of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 22000, OHSAS 18001 management systems to achieve optimal results in product quality, environmental performance, personnel safety, activities, products and services of the organization.- Identify potential opportunities for new projects: new products, new formulas, cost reductions, process improvements, quality improvements, new raw materials and/or new suppliers.**What extra ingredients you will bring**:- Relevant engineering experience focus on processes for different technologies.- Experience leading pilot and plant trials with minimum supervision.- ideally within a fast-moving consumer goods environment.- S trong knowledge of the I2M process be ing able to take projects from ideas to commercialization -Commissioning, Qualification, Verification (CQV) process and in parallel ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental requirements.- Robust communication skills verbally and writing.- Strong technical rigor demonstrating knowledge and expertise, curiosity, continuous learner, and a drive to ensure technical rigor- Leads a technicians of pilot plant through effective communication, clear commitments/ guidance and team training/ development.- Coaching and mentoring others- Be able to manage multiple stakeholders, influence cross-functional teams- Benchmark globally across various regions and functions to ensure efficient knowledge management, sharing of best practices, and contribution to competency development across the RD&Q team.- Quality and Laboratory requirements and practices**Job specific requirements**:- BS or MS in Food Science, Chemical Engineering or related field.- Minimum of 5 yrs. experience, preferably in the food industry- Desirable knowledge in process cheese, cream cheese, mayonnaise or demonstrate a thorough understanding fundamentals- Excellent written and oral communication skills; able to effectively communicate to all levels within the organization.- Work on several large projects, multi-tasking and managing priorities.- Ability to develop, plan for, and carry out plant trials.- This role requires flexibility to lead lab and pilot & plant and at the same time manage large projects- Strong technical foundation and technical curiosity.- Participate in cross-functional teams to identif
