**CONTRACT POSITIONS AVAILABLE**
We are looking for a Professional Services Consultant to help customers successfully implement and integrate our cutting-edge cloud security and observability solutions . This is a hands-on technical role where you will work directly with clients, deploying and configuring our platform to meet their needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and configure Sumo Logic security and observability solutions for customers.
- Guide customers on data collection strategies and best practices.
- Develop queries, alerts, reports, and dashboards to optimize security and monitoring.
- Partner with Product Management and Engineering to provide feedback that enhances our products and customer experience.
Requirements:
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
- Strong understanding of modern application architectures , including distributed systems, containers, microservices, and serverless technologies .
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of container technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker, ECS).
- Familiarity with logs and metrics for DevSecOps .
- Ability to write complex SQL queries or regular expressions .
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Go, or Perl .
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills .
- Ability to analyze business and functional requirements to ensure effective solution deployment.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment .
- Reliable Setup – Own a computer with a high-speed internet connection for remote desktop work.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with SIEM tools (Sumo Logic, Splunk, QRadar, LogRhythm, etc.).
- Background in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) .
- Experience securing or monitoring public cloud environments and SaaS applications.
- Familiarity with Application Performance Monitoring (APM) solutions and observability tools like OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and Grafana .
- Experience with automation tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation .
- Relevant certifications (CISSP, CEH, OSCP) are a plus.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering .
Location: Remote position open to candidates based in Latin America, including Mexico.
