We are looking for a bookkeeper to take care of all our company’s day-to-day financial tasks. This person will be responsible for both accounts payable and receivable along with project support tasks.**Responsibilities**:- Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.- Monitor financial transactions and reports.- Arrange bill payment schedules and verify accuracy of invoices.- Prepare and submit invoices for approval.- Process accounts receivable and payable.- Maintain records of financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts, defining bookkeeping policies and procedures.- Understand ledgers.- Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.- Examine employee’s timesheet and submit for approval.- Ensure expense reports align with established travel policies.Additional Tasks:- Prepare quote requests for vendors and send purchase orders.- Request purchase order status updates from vendors.- Coordinate freight shipping logistics and prepare packing slips.- Keep project schedules up to date and generate material job quotes.- Maintain project status spreadsheet.Bookkeeper Requirements- Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration is desirable.- Excellent knowledge of general accounting principles.- Experience with accounting software, such as QuickBooks.- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.- Able to prepare, review, and understand financial statements.- Knowledge of US GAAP (preferred).- High attention to detail.Tipo de puesto: Tiempo completoSueldo: $15,000.00 - $22,000.00 al mesHorario:- Lunes a viernesPrestaciones:- Horarios flexiblesEducación:- Licenciatura terminada (Deseable)Experiência:- Bookkeeping: 2 años (Deseable)Idioma:- Inglés (Obligatorio)Lugar de trabajo: Empleo remoto
