Location: Mexico City, MexicoDate Posted: Sep 19, 2025**Description****Position Description**As an associate in our team, you will gain experience in Restructuring, Corporate Finance and financial advisory services. Furthermore, you will have exposure to a variety of products and have the chance to immediately interact with clients. It is expected that you will continue to take on more responsibilities as your transaction execution skills are refined.**Responsibilities**- Actively participating in Restructuring and Corporate Finance assignments, a high-pressure environment that requires an ability to quickly and accurately respond to requests- Preparing valuations- Providing a high level of qualitative and quantitative financial modeling- Ensuring that all material is accurate and complete- Participating actively in client meetings- Preparing pitch books to support the group's ongoing business development efforts- Conducting business, industry, and capital markets research**Requirements**:- 4 to 6 years of experience in corporate finance, restructuring, investment or commercial banking, and/or consulting is preferred. A combination of experience in corporate positions with a financial or accounting focus is also desirable.- An understanding or experience in distress/restructuring or M&A- BA/BS degree and/or MBA/ MS in Business, Finance, or other analytical fields.- Advanced foundation in Excel and PowerPoint.- Foundational understanding of Corporate Finance, Business Valuation, operational and financial restructuring, debtor and creditor preferred.- Strong grasp of how to analyze financial statements with ability to design, build and use financial models.- Ability to work well against deadlines and stay on task while supporting multiple work streams.- Able to function well under pressure and work independently while understanding when to ask for guidance.- Creative problem-solving skills with the ability to think through alternative solutions.- Strong communication and business writing skills.- English proficiency above 80% (writing and oral expression)- Commitment to living A&M’s cultural values: integrity, leadership, objectivity, inclusive diversity, and fun.**Inclusive Diversity**:A&M’s entrepreneurial culture celebrates independent thinkers and doers who can positively impact our clients and shape our industry.
