We are looking for an immediate, full-time, permanent position in AMERICAS at Mexico City, Mexico.

Job Purpose:

Execute and ensure procurement processes and activities in the Purchasing Center. Supervise the day-to-day activities of the sub team and ensure the purchase of goods, materials, supplies, and services that meet the organization’s standards of price, quality, timing, and reliability of supply.

  • Drive tactical purchasing processes (non-catalogue requisitions) and ensure day-to-day/admin support (request and analyze competitive bids (3 bids and 1 buy), select suppliers, quality, delivery terms, specifications for goods/services, catalog implementation and maintenance, vendor master data creation and maintenance, L1 e-Purchasing support where required).
  • Review and sign purchasing framework contracts.
  • Supervise, coach, and provide instruction to team members.
  • Ensure procurement processes adhere to DHL Corporate Procurement policy, including Purchasing Compliance.
  • Drive process automation together with the process & performance and IT departments.
  • Implement optimization and digitization projects.
  • Implement new & digital ways of team collaboration and foster cross-functional teaming.
  • Introduce and promote data-driven quality & performance management.
