**Job Details**Performs domestic/international tax compliance duties and related special projects, including support of other members of the Tax Department. Ensures compliance with tax laws and minimizes the tax burden of the company. Responsible for preparation and support of the tax compliance and provision process which includes the computation of Income Tax and Withholdings for Mexican and LATAM legal entities.**What will you do?**- Responsible for the preparation of the income tax returns, and all withholding taxes for entities in Mexico and LATAM. (Monthly and annual basis).- Calculation and involvement in the tax provision process on a quarterly basis.- Responsible for the preparation of informative tax filings.- Prepare Tax reports, as well as be involved in the transfer pricing matters in annual basis.- Keep up with federal tax law changes.- Improve processes by developing or implementing best practices.- Ensures compliance with tax laws and minimizes the tax burden of the company.- Support the tax return numbers as part of the IRS audit. Aid with tax audits review workpapers.**What are we looking for?**- Public accounting experience preferred.- Advanced English- Bachelor’s degree in accounting.- Proven work experience as a Tax Analyst.- Analytical skills with detail orientation.- Teamwork skills.- Good communication skills.- Use of Microsoft Excel.- Johnson Controls does not request pregnancy or HIV testing as a requirement for admission, permanence or promotion._
