Our people are our greatest asset, and we’ll go the extra mile to ensure you’re happy here.- We want our people to be their true authentic selves at all times, because that’s when real creativity happens.**IT Asset Management Portfolio Manager****(all genders)**- Type of Contract: full time | location: MexicoThe role:**Objective of this role**Working with internal stakeholders and functional groups to effectively and efficiently:- Analyze demand volumes- Re-harvest where opportunities exist- Procure best product- Right size footprint - removing unused deployments.- Procure based on actual usage/needs- Purchasing at right support levels- Advise internal stakeholders on options, if available.- Specify how software is deployed- Ensure deployment done as per recommendation.**In general the role will**- Ensuring subscription renewals done prior to expiry date and are renewed at the right level, include the right options and are done based on needs.- Ability to create custom reports / generate standard reports / update records for software licenses or subscriptions using Flexera tool. Also responsible for integrity of license data for own portfolio in terms of accuracy, completeness and ensuring all data is as current.- Collating demand from various stakeholders/functional groups within customer organization to collate similar product requirements for the purpose of ordering sufficient licenses to meet demand and also leverage on volume discounts.- Propose and own a specific budget amount for the purpose of BAU software license & subscription renewals. Portfolio Manager will be responsible for utilization of this budget.- Ensuring publishers/resellers are paid correct amounts and within a given timeframe.- Participate in team periodic team meetings, project meetings with other functional groups in customer organization as may be required.- Ensuring virtualized environments are licensed compliantly, in the most cost effective manner and also recommending options where available.- Providing advisory internal stakeholders on how they should deploy/license software.- To be the conduit between customer and various functional teams globally in SoftwareONE for the purpose of leveraging different expertise in order to complete a task or resolve an issue.- Reach out to various functional teams globally in customer organization for the purpose of planned task or issue resolution.LI-GR1What we need to see from you:**Your Experience**+3 years of experience working with Software Asset Management.New Software/Subscription ProcurementSubscription ManagementDemand Management / CollationBudget ManagementVendor Payment ManagementCustomer Facing Experience Mandatory**Your Knowledge**Software Asset Management (SAM) Licensing KnowledgeAbility to interact / sell ideas to with various levels of stakeholders i.e. Operational to Senior ManagementGood understanding of virtualized environments, active directory/SCCMServiceNow request management.Flexera tool.**Your Language Skill**Written and verbal English Skill is a must.**Your personality**- Our **_Core Values_** fit your value system- Good negotiator- Courage to try something new and commit to changes that fit the vision for the work- Not hesitating to question the status quo- Demonstrates the ability to work with a high level of autonomy**If you need more information about SoftwareONE...**... you can check the other channels we're using for communicating news, insights and knowledge.
