Flex, a Fortune global 500 company, is the diversified manufacturing partner of choice that helps market-leading brands design, build and deliver innovative products that improve the world.We believe in the power of diversity and inclusion and cultivate a workplace culture of belonging that views uniqueness as a competitive edge and builds a community that enables our people to push the limits of innovation to make great products that create value and improve people's lives.Job SummaryTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Manufacturing Engineer located in Juarez Sur.Reporting to the Production Manager the Manufacturing Engineer’s role involves:What a typical day looks like:- Plans, directs, and coordinates manufacturing processes by providing technical support in the development, implementation, and maintenance of manufacturing methods by performing the following duties.- Design’s manufacturing processes within schedule and budgetary parameters.- Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods.- Analyzes and plans workforce utilization, space requirements, and workflow, and designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.- Confers with production group concerning product design and tooling to ensure efficient production methods.- Coordinates with customers to determine product specifications and design changes and responds to their request.- Estimates production times, staffing requirements, and related costs to provide information for management decisions.- Confers with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes.- Applies statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential.The experience we’re looking to add to our team:- Intermediate English- Typically requires a bachelor’s degree- Use of the following tools may be required: CAD, robot and PLC programming, and other automation components.- Testing: oscilloscope, trouble shooting, component testing, logic analyzer.
