We have a track record of successfully selling businesses, and as our sales volume continues to grow, we need to expand our inventory of business listings. **We are seeking a motivated and proficient Business Development Specialist to join our team, with a focus on sourcing new listings in the pet-related industry.****Job Purpose**:The Business Development Specialist will be responsible for identifying and securing new business listings by reaching out to owners of pet-related businesses. Your primary objective will be to establish conversations with business owners and assess their interest in selling their businesses, aiming to add at least five new listings per month.**Key Responsibilities**:- Establish and nurture relationships with business owners to understand their business goals and assess their interest in selling.- Arrange and facilitate conversations between potential sellers and our brokerage team.- Collaborate with the brokerage team to ensure a seamless transition from initial contact to listing.- Maintain a database of leads and track progress towards monthly listing goals.- Stay informed about market trends and developments in the pet industry to identify potential opportunities.**Requirements**:- Experience in business brokerage, mergers, acquisitions, or a related field.- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.- Ability to handle cold calling and initiate conversations with business owners.- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales or business development targets.- C2 Proficiency in English or native-level fluency.- Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.- Knowledge of the pet industry is a plus but not required.**Performance Expectations**:- Successfully add five new business listings per month.- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of potential business listings.- Effectively communicate and collaborate with the internal brokerage team.**Compensation and Benefits**:- Competitive salary with performance-based bonuses.- Opportunity to work with a dynamic and growing company in the business brokerage sector.- Professional development and growth opportunities.- Flexible working environment.Pay: $15,000.00 per month plus bonusWork Location: RemotePay: $15,000.00 per monthWork Location: Remote
