Citrix Systems Engineer

OBJECTIVES/PURPOSE_- _- (3-4 bullets)_- Citrix support and platform improvements- Experience of interpreting issues, recommending actions and following through changes across teams.- Align with portfolio teams to look at and build new competencies and service delivery readiness in line with offering development- A_CCOUNTABILITIES_ _- Citrix support for XenApp, XenDesktop and Netscaler both onprem and AWS- Develop production, quality assurance (testing), and development environments for the content management infrastructure.- Provide on-call support to resolve emergency issues outside normal business hours.- Work with internal technical teams to identify and document future system enhancements- Communicate problems and problems resolutions to system support personnel to improve ongoing service delivery.- Identify and implement process improvements in the architecture and/or infrastructure of existing systems.- Ability to troubleshoot Citrix data store on MS SQL server.- Regularly interacts with customer and/or functional peer group managers.- Strong troubleshooting abilities across platforms, able to work with vendor escalation as needed.- Working knowledge on systems technology areas with focus on VMWare/Citrix/Windows/Linux- Strong troubleshooting abilities across platforms, able to work with vendor escalation as needed.- Regular interactions with customer and/or functional peer group managers.- DIMENSIONS AND ASPECTS_Technical/Functional (Line) Expertise- Domain experience on service enablement is a plus (various; preferred)- Experience in Agile development.Leadership- Facilitates a culture that is open for innovation and automation and removes barriers to an effective automation cultureDecision-making and Autonomy- Ability to promote innovative thinking and self-development.Interaction- Help other teams and conventional parts of the organization build effective communication and interaction with the team.- Coordinate interaction with other teams of one's own and other units.Complexity- Contribute to product development to the extent of her or his competence- EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES_,_ AND SKILLS_:_** **_(_List the essential and desirable education and competency requirements to perform the primary responsibilities of the job. Any minimum requirements should be noted.)_- Bachelor of Science from an accredited university in the areas of Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business or equivalent field of study a plus.- 3-5 years of Citrix and/or IT operational experience, including with relevant Microsoft technologies.- Knowledge of TCP/IP and interoperability with various network devices such as switches, routers, and firewalls.- Knowledge of MS Windows, Linux, and VMware operating systems.- Knowledge of information security techniques to maintain a secure and efficient work environment.- Knowledge of Cisco UCS servers and Tintri storage- Working knowledge of network tools, such as, Visio, Wireshark, etc.- Good analytical and problem solving skills.- Ability to communicate with other employees in the company in both technical and non-technical roles.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.- Ability to maintain attendance to support required quality and quantity of work.- Ability to establish and maintain positive and effective work relationships with coworkers, clients, members, providers and customers.- Experience with software validation/lifecycle in a regulated environment is a plus**Locations**:MEX - Santa Fe**Worker Type**:Employee**Worker Sub-Type**:Regular**Time Type**:Full time
