With deep rooted knowledge in the design, development and operation of transformers, Weidmann is a leading integrated solutions provider for specialized product and services in the energy sector.**The role**Ensure the timely availability of materials, raw materials, and components required for plant operations and production through efficient planning that considers demand, lead times, inventory levels, and storage capacity.**How you’ll make an impact**- Plan and release purchase requisitions based on requirements generated by the SAP system.- Monitor the availability of critical materials for production, anticipating potential shortages or excess inventory.- Closely follow up on open purchase orders with the Purchasing department and suppliers.- Coordinate with Production and Warehousing to validate actual requirements, material consumption, and material receipts.- Keep planning parameters up to date, including lead time, minimum and maximum stock levels, economic order quantity, among others.- Analyze variances between planned demand and actual consumption, adjusting plans as necessary.- Participate in S&OP meetings or demand review meetings to align supply plans with business forecasts.- Identify and propose opportunities to optimize inventory levels without impacting operational continuity.- Generate reports on material status, coverage, compliance indicators, and inventory turnover.- Support the management of nonconforming, obsolete, or slow-moving materials.**What do you bring**- Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.- Experience: 2 to 4 years of experience in materials planning, inventory control, or supply chain logistics.- Technical Knowledge:- Use of MRP/ERP systems (preferably SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards).- Material requirements planning and inventory management.- Understanding of purchasing, receiving, and warehousing processes.- Language Skills: Intermediate-advanced English (preferred for interaction with international suppliers).- Strong organizational skills, data analysis, and problem-solving abilities.- Proactive mindset and ability to make decisions under pressure.- Teamwork skills and effective communication.- Strong focus on compliance and continuous improvement**What do we offer?**- Competitive salary and Compensation package- Health and life insurance.- Diversity and inclusion programs- Management position in a global company- Career plan- Atractive Variable Bonus SystemWe look forward to hearing from you soonAt Weidmann we are committed to equal opportunities and growth for all talents.
