**Your team responsibilities**The Climate Data and Content Services team is responsible for the research and assessment of carbon footprint and business initiatives related to climate change for approximately 10,000 companies globally. All the services are available for our employees free of charge.**Your key responsibilities**Your primary responsibility is to ensure the quality of our Climate Change Metrics data set and engage with internal and external stakeholders for better understanding of methodology and data. Your tasks will include reviewing and validating climate-related data provided by vendors and issuers. In addition, you will help the team review data on regulatory-related requirements and innovations and technologies that contribute to climate change mitigation and adaptation, such as smart cities, renewable energy, electric vehicles, etc. You are also expected to address queries pertaining to our climate data set from our internal and external users, reconciling data challenges, training users on our methodologies and processes, and maintaining process documents.Other responsibilities include:- Work with a global team of researchers, data and IT specialists, and vendors to enhance and improve our research and assessment of companies’ carbon footprint, climate change targets and commitments, and climate change mitigation practices;- Capture and transform climate data metrics into meaningful information/ratings/scores;- Drive coverage and content expansion projects defined by the business;- Update and refine industry assessment guides for data collectors and internal analysts;- Design and implement process improvements and QA checks to ensure consistent data quality and efficiency; and- Contribute to working committees, projects, or perform other tasks as deemed necessary by the business.**Your skills and experience that will help you excel**- Bachelor's degree in sustainability, environmental science, business, economics, finance, or related degrees.- Knowledge of issues and regulations pertaining to climate change and sustainability reporting, including reporting standards (e.g. TCFD), frameworks (e.g. IPCC, UNFCCC, etc.), and regulatory reporting requirements (e.g. SFDR, NFRD, etc.)- At least 5 years working experience in Utilities or Finance sectors and/or a background on GHG assessments, GRI reporting, or sustainable finance.- Experience with stakeholder management or investor relations is an advantage.In addition, we are looking for someone who can demonstrate:- Communicating complex concepts with ease- Fast learner and strong logical thinker- Analytical skills and has strong attention to details- Anticipate problems and opportunities, and adapt to new challenges- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders in a collaborative global team environment**How we’ll support you**- Coaching, support and encouragement from experts in your team- Access to a wide range of learning opportunities to support your growth and development- Customizable learning journeys to help you navigate your professional development- Transparent performance-based compensation schemes- Employee Resource Groups such as MSCI Pride, Black Leadership Network, Women’s Leadership Forum, Women in Tech, Asian Support Network, All Abilities a
