Metso is looking for Logistics Intern to join our regional logistics team.As a Logistics Intern your main responsibilities include but are not limited to monitoring inbound and outbound shipments; handling freight invoices; booking international shipments; and serving our internal customers in a way that guarantees end customer satisfaction with Metso services. A very important part of the work is identification of opportunities for improvement related with tools, triggers/inputs to the process and internal processes. You will be working closely with our internal customers, suppliers and logistics service providers.**Preferred locations**: Irapuato, Gto.Essential Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s Degree in Business or related field preferred, or a combination of education. More than three years’ experience in logistics, experienced different functional area in logistics such as forwarding, warehouse management, transportation management, import & export, and supply chain management, etc.**Language**: Strong English skills in reading and Writing. Smooth oral English.**Computer**: Have a good command of MS Office, be familiar with SAP/ERP & TMS & Oracle system is a plus.Excel Analysis ability is a plusSkills and AbilitiesExcellent Communication and Interpersonal skillsAble to identify, troubleshoot and resolve problems quickly using sound judgement, poise and diplomacy.Ability to use judgement and reasoning skills, and determine when to escalate issues, as required, in a timely manner.Articulate, engage and analyse situations, seeking practical solutions to drive positive outcomes.Drive and ability to respond effectively and efficiently to customer challenges using independent judgment to make freight planning decisions in the customer’s and the company's best interestWork autonomously and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.Root cause Analysis.Strong attention to detail with proven accuracy.Initiative and Adaptability.Ability to work on various shifts to support multiple time zones within the region.
