Functional Test Lead

This is a hybrid work model with day shifts and no travel required.**Responsibilities**- Oversee the creation and execution of test plans test cases and test scripts for various projects.- Provide detailed test metrics and reporting to stakeholders ensuring transparency and accountability in the testing process.- Utilize SNOW for tracking and managing test incidents and defects ensuring timely resolution.- Implement and manage testing tools and frameworks to streamline the testing process and improve efficiency.- Conduct manual end-to-end business process automation (BPA) testing to ensure seamless integration and functionality.- Use Rally HP ALM and Jira for test management and defect tracking ensuring all issues are documented and addressed.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on testing objectives and deliverables.- Ensure all testing activities comply with industry standards and best practices particularly in the Cards and Payments domain.- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior testers fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning.- Identify and mitigate risks associated with testing activities ensuring project timelines and quality standards are met.- Communicate effectively with stakeholders providing regular updates on testing progress and any issues encountered.**Qualifications**- Demonstrate proficiency in using SNOW Rally HP ALM and Jira for test management.- Have hands-on experience with testing tools and frameworks.- Exhibit strong manual end-to-end BPA testing skills.- Show basic programming knowledge for automated test script creation.- Have a solid understanding of the Cards and Payments domain.- Display excellent communication and collaboration skills.- Be detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.- Show the ability to mentor and guide junior team members.- Demonstrate strong problem-solving and risk mitigation skills.- Be adaptable to a hybrid work model and day shifts.- Have a proactive approach to continuous improvement and learning.- Possess a strong commitment to meeting project deadlines and quality standards.**Certifications Required**ISTQB Certified Tester Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent certifications relevant to testing and quality assurance.**Why Cognizant?**Improve your career in one of the largest and fastest-growing IT services providers worldwideReceive ongoing support and funding with training and development plansHave a highly competitive benefits and salary packageGet the opportunity to work for leading global companiesWe are committed to respecting human rights and building a better future by helping your minds and the environmentWe invest in people and their well-being.We build conditions for everyone to thrive.
