**About the Role**The Associate role for the Financial Business Group is a unique opportunity to help shape and expand our financial business programs.The role has a direct ability to impact the success and the trajectory of the business through work that will cover short- and longer term forecasting, performance deepdives, analysis to support strategic decision making and, various projects aimed at improving the performance of the business.If you're ready to go deep working on a rewarding set of challenges and if you've got the finance skills, passion, and a strong team mentality - read on and get in touch**What you'll do**- Strategy - Help the team review and prioritize fintech initiatives in USA, Canada and LATAM. Conduct market and competitive research to help shape our Financial Services vision.- Analytics - Analysis of product, program and partnership performance. Leverage data to help steer business decisions.- Develop & Optimize Processes - Scale new and existing processes to allow the our business to grow profitability- Product Improvement - Lead new product feature research and competitive analysis and proactively give feedback to Ops and Product teams- Think strategically and implement: the models we build aid in decision making and strategy - we operationalize our insights and support everyday execution;- Monthly close: report and analyze variances between actuals, forecast, and plan - use insights to iterate on forecasts and build/discuss potential action plans with cross-functional customers;**Basic Qualifications**- Immediate availability to live in Mexico City or São Paulo- Conversational English (C1+)- Advanced Excel / Google Sheets level (Modeling)- 3 to 5 years in Banking, Corporate Finance, Corporate Development, Operational FP&A or Business Consulting role at either a high-growth company or a large, well-established organization- Problem solving - Being able to solve issues that involve people, things, and processes by using logic, common sense and data. Identifying the root cause of a problem as opposed to focusing on the symptoms- Excellent communication and people skills: numbers are key, but a business is built with people- Self-starter: You will take initiative and drive toward goals- Attention to detail: consistent with swift and high quality execution. We do things quickly, and we need to do them well- Ability to take initiative in a constantly-changing work environment while maintaining flexibility and a collaborative attitude- A willingness to be "on the ground" working responsively with bank and other Fintech partners**Preferred Qualifications**- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or Economics highly preferred- SQL skills: the ability to self-serve, investigate and get the data we require will make you much more effective;
